About the teacher - Hannah Katarski

I love sharing my knowledge with others and have extensive experience in the Arts.
​I hold a Graduated Diploma (Education) as well as a Bachelor Arts Degree and really enjoy teaching!
The projects were simple, but all turned out really pretty, and I learned a lot about layering techniques. Simple concepts that had so far escaped me like being careful to move the "beading" so the edges don't dry and create uneven spots, were like thunderbolt moments. I am slightly further along than a beginner, but not quite intermediate yet, and this was perfect for me! - Erica
This class is well-planned, with each lesson clearly building on the skills from the previous ones - just like layers of watercolour! By following along, I'm learning how to create diluted and concentrated washes from light to dark, to build up layers of colour in a painting.
