I'd like to...

I'm an illustrator based in Perth, Western Australia. I work with watercolour and gouache to create detailed illustrations and patterns for use on prints and products. I love the quality that results from working with traditional media.

I have always been a maker. From little books, to doll’s clothes and everything in between. As a self taught artist, I started Mermaid’s Coin in 2013, when I had my first child.

My one woman business has evolved over the last few years. I now create exclusive artwork for gorgeous brands, license my patterns and illustrations for use on products, and sell art and stationery via Etsy and Faire (wholesale).

These days I aim to balance my creative business with the business of raising two small humans, herding cats, and getting into the waves when the swell is up.

I am continually inspired by the sea.

I just love that there are so many avenues for illustration to find its way onto products.

I love working with businesses to create artwork that embodies their brand and elevates their product. I make it easy for clients by providing contracts, guiding them through the commission process, and creating ready-to-print artwork files.

I create artwork for fashion, babywear, jigsaw puzzles, stationery, wallpaper, children's books and more!
